This is a British Army warrant officer's peaked cap from the Post-Cold War era (1991-Present). The cap features an Irish Guards cap badge on the front. The brim of the cap is slashed, meaning the visor is cut and set in a vertical position by pushing it up into the cap band. This type of visor is only worn by members of Guard units. The brim also has four lines of gold embroidery, indicating the rank of warrant officer. The rest of the cap is dark blue with green piping and a green hat band.
